- This Privacy Policy describes SODIC’s policies and procedures on the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of information of the app users with respect to the use of the Service in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and the app users' rights of privacy. SODIC’s use of the app user's personal data shall be for the sole purpose of providing and improving the service.
Acceptance of the Privacy Policy
- You accept to be bound by this privacy policy by using the Service (referred to herein as the “Service” or the “Application”), by accessing the Application, or by signing up for the creation of an account on the Application.

Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
- The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- Account means the account created for you (app user) to access our service or parts of our service.
- Affiliate is referred to as SODIC’s parent company, subsidiaries, joint venture partners, or any other entities that are controlled by or are under common control of SODIC, where "control" means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interest, or other securities entitled to vote for election of directors or other managing authority.
- Application refers to the software program provided by SODIC.
- Company (referred to herein as either "the Company" or SODIC (SIXTH OF OCTOBER FOR DEVELOPMENT AND INVESTMENT COMPANY)), headquartered at Kilo 38 Cairo Alexandria Desert Road, El Sheikh Zayed City.
- Device means any device used to access the Service, such as a cellphone or a digital tablet.
Personal Data is any personally identifiable information that relates to You (App User), which shall include but shall not be limited to “your name, email address, phone number, payment method, etc.” that is voluntarily provided by You (“App User”) in relation to the use of the “Service.” - Service refers to the application.
- Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of SODIC. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by SODIC to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service, or to assist SODIC in analyzing how the Service is used. SODIC’s service providers are obligated to handle personal data consistent with this Privacy Policy and according to SODIC’s instructions.
- Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated using the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit, browsing history, search history, interactions in relation to the Service, crash data, performance, etc.).
Applicable law: means all applicable laws and regulations in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and in accordance with the provisions of Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.
Collecting and Using your Personal Data
Types of Data Collected
Personal Data
You agree that while using the Service provided by SODIC or any of its affiliates, business partners, or any third parties employed by SODIC to facilitate the Service, you may be required to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but shall not be limited to, the following:
- Account Information: all information required for account sign-up, such as email address, physical address, phone number, verification email or phone number, national ID number, username, etc.
- Payment Information. Data about your billing address and method of payment, such as bank details, credit, debit, or other payment card information.
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.
Usage Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of the Service visited by you, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.
You agree that SODIC or any of its affiliates, service providers, or business partners shall collect certain information automatically when you access the service through a mobile device, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Type of the mobile device used by you.
- Your mobile device's unique ID,
- Your mobile device IP address,
- Your mobile operating system,
- Type of your used mobile Internet browser, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.
You agree that SODIC or any of its affiliates, authorized business partners, or any third parties employed by SODIC to facilitate the Service may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit the Service or when you access the Service by or through a mobile device.
Information Collected while Using the Application
You agree that while using SODIC’s Application, the following information may be required from you in order to provide features of the Application, including but not limited to:
- Geo-Location Information: This includes access to and permission to track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using the application, to provide location-based services regarding your location.
- Mobile Device Data Access: which may include pictures and other information from your device's camera and photo library.
The above information shall be used to provide features of or to improve and customize the Service. This information may be uploaded to SODIC's servers or any of its affiliates' and/or its service provider's servers, or it may be simply stored on your device.
You can enable or disable access to this information at any time through your device settings; however, disabling access to certain information may lead to failure to fully and properly provide you with the required services or respond to any of your required requests.
Use of your Personal Data
You agree that the use of your personal data is necessary to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience, and you agree that SODIC or any of its affiliates, business partners, or any third parties employed by SODIC to facilitate or improve, or enhance the service shall be entitled to use your personal data for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Service, including monitoring the usage of the service.
- Process Your Transactions: To process transactions, SODIC must collect data such as your name, purchase, and payment information.
- To manage your account: to manage your registration as a user of the service. The personal data you provide can give you access to different functionalities of the service that are available to you as a registered user.
- To contact You: To contact You by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application's push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products, or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.
- To provide you with news, special offers, and general information about other goods, services, and events that we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or inquired about, unless you have opted not to receive such information.
To manage your requests: To attend to and manage your requests or suggestions to SODIC. - Feedback review and problem solving: to request feedback about your use of the service and troubleshoot all encountered problems in relation to the use of the service.
- Comply with any applicable laws: To comply with any applicable laws or regulations or governmental decisions—for example, to satisfy tax or reporting obligations, or to comply with a lawful governmental request.
- For other purposes: We may use your information for other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns, and evaluating and improving our service, products, services, marketing, and your experience.
Retention of your Personal Data
You agree that SODIC shall be entitled to retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy. SODIC shall retain and use your personal data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
You agree that SODIC may also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of the service, or SODIC is under a legal obligation to retain this data for longer time periods.
Transfer of your Personal Data
You agree that your information, including personal data, is processed at the SODIC's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located, which in turn means that this information may be transferred to—and maintained on—computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
Your consent to this Privacy Policy, followed by your submission of such information, represents your approval of the transfer of your personal data and information.
SODIC warrants that it shall take all reasonably necessary measures to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place, including the security of your data and other personal information.
Delete your Personal Data
You are entitled to update, amend, or delete your information at any time by signing in to Your Account, if you have one, and visiting the account settings section that allows you to manage your personal information.
You agree and acknowledge that SODIC shall reserve the right to retain certain information for the purpose of compliance with a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so, and such information or data shall not be subject to deletion or amendments.
Disclosure of your Personal Data
You agree that SODIC shall be entitled to share and disclose your personal information in the following situations:
- With Service Providers: SODIC may share your personal information with service providers to monitor and analyze the use of the service.
- For business transfers: SODIC may share or transfer your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
- With its affiliates, SODIC may share your information with its affiliates, in which case, SODIC shall require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. Affiliates include our parent company and any other subsidiaries, joint venture partners, or other companies or any other entities that are controlled by or are under common control of SODIC.
- With business partners: SODIC may share your information with our business partners to offer you certain products, services, or promotions.
- Marketing Communications: SODIC may share your information with third parties for marketing purposes, as permitted by the applicable laws and regulations in force.
- With your consent, SODIC may disclose your personal information for any other purpose upon obtaining your consent.
You acknowledge that SODIC shall not be held liable or responsible for any unlawful actions or misconduct of any unauthorized third parties with whom you share personal or sensitive data, and SODIC shall have no authority to manage or control unauthorized third-party solicitations.
In case you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails, or other communications from third parties, you shall be responsible for contacting the third party directly without any further liability on SODIC in this regard.
Law Enforcement
Under certain circumstances, SODIC may be required to disclose your personal data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).
Other Legal Requirements
SODIC shall be entitled to disclose your personal data in cases where such action is necessary to:
- Comply with a legal obligation.
- Protect and defend the rights or property of the company
- Prevent or investigate possible misconduct in connection with the use of the Service.
- Protect the personal safety of other users of the service or the public.
- Protect against any arising legal liability.
Security of your Personal Data
SODIC uses administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While SODIC has taken reasonable steps to secure your personal information, please be aware that despite SODIC’s efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
You hereby agree and acknowledge that any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, SODIC shall not guarantee complete security with respect to your personal data.
Security Policy for Children
The service relating to this privacy policy shall not be available to nor shall it be addressed to anyone under the age of 13. SODIC does not collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided SODIC with personal data, please contact us.
If SODIC becomes aware of the collection of personal data from anyone under the age of 13 without obtaining verification from the parents, SODIC shall proceed with taking all necessary steps to remove that information from the servers and shall proceed with requesting verification of the provided information or data from the parent.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
You agree that this Privacy Policy may be subject to any future alterations or modifications or changes by SODIC. In this case, SODIC shall notify you of any changes by mail or by flagging the Privacy Policy on the Application as updated.
SODIC shall inform you via email and/or a prominent notice on the application of the Service in a timely manner prior to the change becoming effective and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on the Service Application.
