SODIC Art's first international symposium delivered sculptures that reflect different personal experiences of the transformative historical moment Egypt is experiencing. The artists participating sought to create art that focuses on the human body and its experiences through various states of movement towards the future.

"We have real art taking place here," said famed Egyptian sculptor Adam Henein when prompted, "the production of these pieces in Cairo with metal never the less, which is a hard medium to work with points to thee volution taking place in art in Egypt and particularly, with the nature of symposiums.
