Carmen Tepsan

Piece: Place for Passing the Wind 

Carmen Tepsan is a Romanian sculptor born in Bucharest in 1959. Tepsan graduated from the Fine Arts Institute "N. Grigorescu" in Bucharest in 1983. She is a member of the Union of Romanian Artists and an Art Professor at the High School of Art "N. Tonitza" in Bucharest. Tepsan has participated in over 200 exhibitions throughout her career, including the Exhibition of Sculpture in Guatemala City, the First Elaborate Sculpture Exhibition in Zhengzhou, and the Exhibition of Sculpture and drawings in Zalaegersag, Hungary. 

Tepsan mainly creates vertical abstract sculptures with open spaces depicting continuity and an aspiration for the future. For this symposium she has created a structure that is visible, where the structure is also the sculpture, made of fine lines that pass light through freely without barriers.
