Cairo - Friday 9th December 2011, SODIC unveils Westown Residences, its first purely Egyptian-made residential development, and sells all 148 units within 48 hours - a record-breaking achievement for SODIC. The development is the third to be launched in Westown Cairo, the large-scale city centre master-planned in collaboration with Solidere International.

Westown Residences is Westown's first purely gated residential neighbourhood, offering 148 townhouses and twin-houses with stunning architectural designs. The homes harness the beauty of their surroundings, while reflecting the overall sense of community suited for people with different needs, tastes and lifestyles.

Designed by Egyptian architects at SODIC, the homes at Westown Residences gated community are set around seven themed gardens, each with its own unique look and feel. Their great functionality is the product of meticulous planning and contemporary architecture; with private gardens, rooftop terraces, high ceilings and large windows.

Westown Residences is situated in the quiet, southern corner of Westown, just a short walk from Allegria, Forty West, The Polygon and the British International School.
