SODIC awarded the Enterprise Innovation Award by ITDA

The award recognizes SODIC's dedicated efforts in registering all of its trademarks and recognizes SODIC as the best Egyptian company in terms of Intellectual Property Rights

Cairo, EGYPT - 15th December 2010- SODIC has won the Enterprise Innovation Award- 2010, for its commitment to registering all of its trademarks with the Internal Trade Development Authority, an affiliate of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The distinguished award was granted by the General Administration of Trademark Registration and Industrial Patterns affiliated with ITDA, in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The award ceremony took place on December 15, 2010 at the Intercontinental Semiramis hotel and was attended by H.E Rashid M. Rashid- Minister of Trade and Industry, the supervisor of the Ministry of Investment, Eng. Amr Talaat, Chairman of ITDA, Mr. Amjad A. Ghaffar, the Regional Manager of WIPO in the Arab Region, and Mr. James Peefer, the Director of USAID. During the ceremony, Mr. Ismail Seoudi, SODIC's General Manager, was presented the award on behalf of the company.

SODIC owns a number of trademarks which reflect the names and logos of its real estate developments such as Allegria, Westown, Eastown, Beverly Hills, the Polygon, Forty West, and others. The award recognizes the company's commitment to registering its trademarks with the ITDA.
